Following a stream of several successful concerts featuring the four flute quartets of Mozart, the Rubens Quartet and Marieke Schneemann have decided to make a CD recording of their inspired collaboration. On May 30 and 31, the CD will be recorded live in two concerts!
The creation of this recording is the initiative of the Rubens Quartet, and will be released on our very own RQ label.
The recording will take place on May 30 and 31 at 20:15 in the Westvest 90 church, 3111 BZ Schiedam, which is directly across from the old mill called “De Walvisch”. Parking in the area is free after 20:00. You can also reach the church easily by public transportation; it is a 10-minute walk from the station Schiedam Centrum, metro station Parkweg or from the Koemarkt stop on tram line 23.
The cost of one ticket is €5, and friends of the Rubens Quartet can enter for free. If you choose to pay 15 euros or more, you will receive a copy of the CD when it is released: a unique document of the live recording in which you took part!
