This remarkable date is not only Bach's birthday but will also mark one year since the debut release of Sarah's six-film series,
Bach (De)Constructed. A cause for celebration!
The beloved and revolutionary six works for solo violin by Johann Sebastian Bach have influenced countless later composers to write their own solo works for this versatile instrument. For this concert Sarah presented a single movement from each of the six Bach works, interspersed with movements by Reger, Stravinsky, Ysaÿe, Bartók, Hindemith and David Fulmer.
